Born in Sunderland in 1947, Sheila has lived and worked in the north east all of her life. Undertaking many and varied jobs from picking potatoes to selling frozen food door to door, her true calling as an author came later on in life in 2004.

Sheila has a large family of 3 daughters and 1 son, 9 grand children and 2 great grand children, she can often be found at the side of a football pitch supporting her grand sons in their persute of footballing excellence.

FAVOURITE FOOD:
A proper Roast Dinner, especially with carrots and broccoli!

FAVOURITE DRINK:
Diet Coke (I don't drink alcohol apart from a half of lager once or twice a year!)

WHICH FOOTBALL TEAM:
Sunderland AFC

FAVOURITE HOLIDAY DESTINATION:
I don't enjoy flying, so the amazing British Isles are my first choice when it comes to taking a break, too many people don't realise the fantastic scenery right on our own doorsteps.
